ram bomjon is a 16-year-old boy born and living in the village of Ratnapur who allegedly is in the process of transforming into the next incarnation of the Buddha. It has been claimed that the so-called “Buddha Boy” has been sitting under a pipal tree in uninterrupted meditation since May of 2005. According to the set of people who surround and control access to Ram Bomjon, he asserted just before sitting down that he was entering into a six-year meditative state in order to attain enlightenment, a la the original Buddha Siddhartha Gautama. According to the same set of people who surround and control access to Bomjon, he:
has not stirred from his meditation since May 2005,
has had nothing to eat since May 2005,
has continued meditating even after being bitten by a snake,
and has caused two mute people in proximity to him to begin to speak.

This is fascinating! must do more research on this!

fucking rad

why doesn’t he have a beard though? not even stubble…

he has really fucking nice hair though.

Are you sure he’s not dead? It’s not physically possible for him to go that long without food.

I call bullshit. He’d eventually die of starvation and thirst. You can’t go that long without food and water…especially water.

Not to mention sitting still for that long without moving or bathing would cause his ass to completely deteriorate with pressure ulcers, and his muscles would also deteriorate from lack of nourishment and movement. You mean to tell me a dude sat in his own urine and feces for six years without moving or bathing, and didn’t die of infected pressure ulcers after the first six months? Likely story. Even for the ~new Buddha.

I don’t know… I might believe it. I mean, a lot of people believe some crazy things that we don’t think are true…
Like parting a sea, becoming alive again after 3 days of being dead, a virgin giving birth, a simple man healing blind people, turning water in wine, talking snake, 7 days to make everything in existence, two of EVERY animal species in a rather large boat made by one man, etc.

^^i like this last comment. if you wont use all that logic to dispel christian theories why would you use it to dispel buddhist theories?
